SharpSpring enables you to insert a tracking code for multiple websites within a single company.
The tracking code is what allows you to connect with the SharpSpring app and take advantage of all the tools SharpSpring has to offer. SharpSpring uses an asynchronous tracking code, meaning that your website will load, even if SharpSpring's servers go down.
Here's a quick guide on how to add an add a new website to your SharpSpring account.
Step 1: Click on "Analytics" in the top navigation bar.
Step 2: Select "Sites" in the drop down menu.
On the "Sites" page, click on the gray gear symbol.
In the drop down menu, select "Add Site."
Fill in the short name for your website in the first field in the menu.
Choose the type of website. This can range from a main website to a simple blog.
Insert the domain name in the field directly below.
Click on the blue "Add Website" button.
You should see an embed code, copy the code.
Paste the code onto every page of the website that you want to track immediately before the closing </head> tag.
Go to the page that has the embed code on it.
You have successfully added a tracking code to an additional website.
You should have a better understanding of how to insert a tracking code for your website using SharpSpring. As always, if you have any questions or concerns you can send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
