SharpSpring enables you to define custom lead scoring parameters. The following video will show you how to configure lead scoring in SharpSpring. However, if you prefer, a written step-by-step guide is available below the video for your convenience.
Step-by-Step Guide to Configuring Lead Scoring
Step 1: Click on the gray "System Admin" button in the top right corner of SharpSpring.
Step 2: Select "Settings."
Step 3: Click on "Lead Scores," in the left side panel. It is located under the "Features" section of the panel.
Step 4: Now you can edit your lead scoring settings.
Lead Scoring Criteria
You to score leads based on 4 different sets of criteria. These are:
Completeness- This is the information you have on the lead, i.e., street address, company name, email, etc. You can assign points ranging from one to 25 to represent the importance of that field.
Engagement- This represents how engaged the lead is with your website. You can give one to five points for each page visited, one to 25 points for each landing page and one to 25 points completed forms.
Tracking- This score is based on visiting designated pages.
Fit- Fit is configured using standard and custom fields from the Contact Manager.
Lead Score Decay- Choose the half life of Lead Scores. You also have the option to select “No Decay” so that the lead score decay will not be applied.
Lead Score Ranges
One final lead scoring feature you can set is to determine what lead score makes a great lead, a good lead or a bad lead.
- Use the sliders, adjust the lead scores to represent lead values.
- Once these sliders are set, you can see the number of leads you have that fit the lead score range.
- Lead scores are calculated every 60 seconds.
