SharpSpring enables you to send an email to a list immediately or schedule an email for a later time. Emails are a crucial part of lead generation. Being able to craft an email that will reach a large number of recipients at a personal level is an important way to use SharpSpring.

Step-by-Step Guide on how to Send and Schedule Emails
Step 1: Click on "Automation" in the top navigation bar.
Step 2: Select “Lists” in the drop down menu.
Step 3: Find the list you want to use for the email.
Step 4: Click on the gray box all the way to the right of the desired list (looks like a gear).
Step 5: Select “Send Email to List” from the drop down menu.
Step 6: When the module pops up, either choose “As Soon as Possible” or opt to send at a later time.
(Note: If you would like to send the email to a test list, you can select the option “send to everyone on the list even if they have already received the email”. This will overwrite the Sharpspring default rule that you cannot allow an email to be sent to the same person more than once.)
Step 7: Once you have selected the date and time, choose the email you want to send and click on the blue “Schedule Email" button.
(Note: A confirmation should appear on the app telling you “email scheduled successfully.")
After you have scheduled the email, it's always a good idea to verify that the email was scheduled correctly.
Verifying That the Email is Scheduled Correctly
Step 1: Click on "Automation" again in the navigation bar.
Step 2: Select “Scheduled" in the drop down menu.
Step 3: Find the email and note the date and time that the email is supposed to be sent. The email can be unscheduled by clicking on the gray box (looks like a gear) and choosing “Remove” from the drop down menu.
